Adj Prof Ngiam Kee Yuan

Adj Prof Ngiam Kee Yuan is a pioneering figure in healthcare AI and surgical innovation. He received his medical degree from University College London in 2003 with multiple distinctions and holds specialist certifications from the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Edinburgh.

As founding Head of the Artificial Intelligence Office at NUHS, Adj Prof Ngiam has developed transformative platforms including DISCOVERY AI, one of the first secure data platforms for equitable healthcare data sharing, and ENDEAVOUR AI, a real-time clinical AI deployment system. He also created RUSSELL-GPT, an LLM platform now used by over a thousand NUHS clinicians, reducing administrative task time by 40%. A practising thyroid and endocrine surgeon with multiple patents in surgical and AI innovations, Adj Prof Ngiam is the founding Head of the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS and a leading advocate for educating future digital health leaders.
